Biofuels

At HamiltonClark, we believe that energy crop biofuels (liquid and gaseous fuels, and electricity produced from dedicated energy crops) is of enormous importance to world markets.

Energy crops can be blended with fossil fuel to reduce fossil fuel consumption; they can cycle and sequester CO2 and reduce the risk of global warming; they have a positive fossil energy balance; and if properly managed as perennial crops, can reduce water usage and harmful environmental issues. In addition, energy crop biofuels have the potential to assist developing countries that are severely hurt by high oil and natural gas import prices.

We are currently organizing this company and have recently signed a landmark cellulosic ethanol CRADA with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (also including Oak Ridge National Laboratory for switchgrass research), as described below.
